The Avengers - Bye Bye Ed

It seems that Ed Norton will not be back to play Bruce Banner in The Avengers. And that makes us sad.

There have been words exchanged between Norton's camp and Marvel. Norton's people say that it looks like Marvel broke off the talks and decided to go another way over unannounced money issues. But Marvel says that they want someone who is better in an ensemble cast and is enthusiastic about playing Bruce Banner in Joss Whedon's film.

I think that's a pretty harsh shot from the studio. Why go after a guy professionally like that?
